Melody’s Haven of Hope at Oregon Horsemanship

We’re excited to introduce Deckside with the Herd, a new gathering we hope becomes a favorite tradition at Oregon Horsemanship!

Our first one was a huge success and everyone enjoyed their time (even if the it was raining and the “deck” was in the arena).

Leave the busyness of everyday life behind and spend an evening surrounded by horses, peaceful scenery, and meaningful conversation. Bring your favorite beverage, relax on the deck overlooking the herd, enjoy light refreshments, and simply slow down.

Throughout the evening you’ll hear the stories of our rescue horses, learn about their incredible journeys, and have opportunities to meet, groom, and connect with members of the sanctuary herd on the ground. There is no riding—just time to reflect, laugh, recharge, and enjoy the company of horses and other women in a beautiful setting.

Invite your mother, daughter, sister, friend, neighbor, coworker, or any special woman who could use an evening of connection, encouragement, and peace.

Each evening is just a donation of two bales of hay ($44) or more, with every dollar helping provide hay and daily care for the sanctuary horses who make these evenings possible.  (with every bale you are helping a horse have hay for the year)
